I heard of a new book-buying/idea-sharing strategy the other day that I believe is powerful in its simplicity. The recommendation is that when you see a book that you like or know you will like, buy at least three copies instead of one. The first book is for you to read, mark up, and do what you do with personal books. The second is for your spouse or a good friend. Finally, the third book is for someone (another friend, co-worker, client, referral source, business or social acquaintance) you think will benefit from the book.

I like this three-book idea as an individual who reads and likes to share good things with others. I will try this on the next book I buy.

You can try it on the next book you buy – if that next book is Buy-Sell Agreements for Closely Held and Family Business Owners. It is available at a $5 discount per book if you buy three. Click “Order Now” at this link and you will be taken to the shopping cart. Enter the quantity of “3” and your order will be priced appropriately. Additional discounts are available at quantities of 10 and 50.

Either way, whether you buy my book or another, the idea is still sound. Sharing the good things and the good ideas in life makes us all better.
